ADD Symptoms

What is ADD?

Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) is a neurological-based developmental disability that causes a range of problems associated with behavioural difficulties and poor attention span.

People with ADD will suffer mainly from inattentiveness. These symptoms can often prevent people from learning, socialising well or taking part in group activities (e.g. playing team sports). A person with ADD may also have trouble with:

  • keeping their attention on tasks or when playing
  • organising tasks and activities
  • playing quietly
